Good money. Any idea who is getting it? "A statewide effort to fingerprint all school personnel in Maine starts today in Winthrop. A new state law requires the fingerprinting of all teachers, administrators and other school employees to protect children from adults with previous convictions for crimes involving children. Maine Education Commissioner J- Duke Albanese will be the first educator fingerprinted, followed by other state and Winthrop school officials. The effort has drawn some criticism. The Maine Education Association, which represents teachers, principals and other school personnel, says current employees should not be expected to pick up the 49-dollar cost as a new condition of employment. They say such an order must be part of contract negotiations. Two state senators say they will challenge the law making teachers pay."

I swear, dealing with the scammy startups in this industry is like playing "whack-a-mole."* No sooner does an EOSC get busted, or a SACM delisted, than an ANYD pops up -- in that technology cradle of Las Vegas. Whoops, wrong technology -- gambling, not biometrics. Well, in this case it may be the best analogy, betting against the house.

I am so sick of these worthless outfits discrediting everyone else in the industry.
