Cirruslvr, Hi! You can find the Gartner Group/Dataquest info in a slide presentation at the Procom website at www.procom.com. Click on the "Products" box, then "Network Attached Storage", then "NetFORCE Documentation". Go down to the "NAS vs. SAN" under the Documentation heading. I was so impressed with the data that I printed out several of the important slides. I didn't want to take the chance that Procom might remove it from their website which would remove it as a resource. You can find more valuable info at this site along with the other competitor www.auspex.com. Auspex has a very good white paper titled "Web Attached Storage" which is quite helpful.

The best paper that I've seen at NTAP's website is the one titled "Enterprise Storage: System Data and Availability". It is located in the Technical Library. This report appears to me to be a point by point discussion of the features and benefits of the NTAP filer versus the competition. It frankly addresses the criticisms made by competitors in their unsuccessful effort to de-throne NTAP. I particularly like the logic NTAP used in responding to the issues surrounding the use of RAID 4 and the potential of two discs failing simultaneously. This paper is a MUST READ for NTAP investors.

For the record, we are currently trading at $77-5/8 with 270,000 shares traded.

Best,

Duncan
