bw, VSTR looks like an AMZN in the making in the wireless space - no need to make money - only need to reinvest forever. My problem with picking this type of stock is one truly has no clue whether it has hit the top and is on the way down or not. The stock is way too volatile and is traded by the daytraders. It may take another year before it starts to come down!

As to the I-exchange contest, one needs to specify the holding period. If you think day-to-day give you the best chance, then specify 1 day. I specified 1 week for CNXT.

So far, I have the followings to study:

ALSC
ADIC
ENTU
LSCC
SNDK
VSTR (short)

I think the stock market has been given the green light to inflate again after last week's good economic numbers and AG's cooperation. I think the trend is up from here even though I like to see bigger consolidation myself. Too many people, pro's or not, are going to visualize a parallel story between what will unfold the rest of this year and next Q and what happened last year. October is over - worries are gone. The only worry, Y2K, has been worried long enough and people are going to bet that this is really a non-event as it should be other than for poor IBM.

For the high flying techs, the risk continues to be greater not to be in them than in them at this point. Those are the famous last words for the CNXT pick when it was scaring the daylight out of the Long holders a week before earning.
