The scene was a mess. (Well no kidding. Two dead bodies in the dining room is not the way I keep house.)

Bullets sprayed about. Just how many bullets are we talking about? Did Pancho Villa empty his ammo belts here or are we talking about a few strays. To put it in guy terms - Was the completion ratio on the bullets better than a good quarterback (over 50%), or was it worse than the batting average of a poor hitting pitcher (under 10% hit the victims and their phones)?

Business papers strewn about. Were they what was in the suitcase? Probably not, as Chelem conducted business out of the house. Scarola worked there too it seems reported. But were they strewn from the impact of a fusillade of gun fire or was some one looking for something?

Why the focus on Chalem Well it was his house. It seems unlikely that someone would track Lehmann until he arrived at that Chalem's secluded location and then shoot up the joint. If Chalem was not the sole target, then he surely was a co-primary target.
