The Capellix isn't a fabric switch. It's actually more competitive with the StorageTek Access Hub.. (remember this is In My Opinion.. your mileage may vary.. always better to do more research..) Now, it looks like the Capellix can have switching functionality added later with their bladed architecture, but today it seems to serve different needs than FC switches (basically larger Arbitrated Loop configs). I actually posted on here earlier what I thought of the early data on Ancor's new switch specs, vs. the Silkworm..
