A new idea...SAFC...STRONG BUY A lot of sharp people (including Jim Grant) are pounding the table on certain insurers - which along with all the other financials - have been shot down mercilessly. SAFC is a first-class operation and is trading at a huge discount to book. The last quarter was weak - but it was weak for every other insurance firm. I think the stock is going to take a healthy pop from these levels and like ONE it has a 5%+ yield.
