Tom: Of course you are right in that closing the society will have disastrous consequences,nobody is advocating that.May be the governments should a put lid on religious zealots, what is with these guys anyway. As for separation of church and state and all that,a great idea but they often converge knowingly or otherwise. and for Commies running for office, I have never seen any in the U.S but that don't mean anything really, I was vaguely referring to McCarthy. I wonder how the people in the U.S will react if Hindus, Muslims,Jews,Bhuddists and every other religions of the world unleash their 'missionaries' on to the country!! Recently I read the parents in a Long Island school took the school and the teacher to court, the offence was the teacher taught the kids about other cultures, I heard they were really offended by the kids drawing a picture of Ganesh.The thing is when certain people do it it is all about freedom and if and when others dishout the same doze of medicine it considered very bitter and unhealthy and devil worship and such...yeah we know how it works.

Tom: Conversion of the poor in 3rd world countries is done thru bribery and a chance of better life in THIS life not next, even tho the promise is of heaven after death. CHURCHES AND MEN OF GOD LYING??? What a revolutionary idea. And would you be for or against bribery of Governments, corps (it is illegal under US laws to bribe anyone incl. foreign cos., people etc., ordinary people?? Remember that churches are non profit corps. So any briberty by them would be illegal. Of course no one has bothered to look into their books to see where the money goes. And while we are at it, Other than excluding those who advocate an immediate, violent overthrow of the government/society WHY? If u exclude one, lets start excluding others also, one by one.
