Discing, not plowing is a good way to even up a dirt road. I've done it. Best to stay off of them after a rain until they get repacked.

We have a lot of oil and chip roads. When they are newly resurfaced or it gets real hot they are terrible about kicking up tar on the vehicles.

50 miles west of here there are a lot of sand roads. Nasty things when it's dry. Soft and dusty.

Are you anywhere near Clewiston? I have a friend who is thinking about moving there.
