John, i don't know either...i have avoided the stock due to their hedging strategy and don't watch it much. but i know one thing, whatever deal they got, it probably was not very good for ASL shareholders. i also happen to think that the current deal will fall apart right away if the PoG should start rising again. i'll see if i can find out more about the deal...but basically ASL is probably a good bet if you think the PoG will fall further. otherwise i think it should be avoided, as the deal basically means the hedge book hasn't gone away. hb
