3 latency binsplits for each of 3 speed grades, and priced accordingly - there are 9 part numbers for each size of rambus chip (64M, 128m). The technology is being pushed pretty hard.

Look at the data sheets. Compare them to PCXXX, that is currently available as PC133 for the same cost as PC100 (which is probably about to be dropped - the pricing indicates that most parts test out at 133). This technology doesn't show signs of being pushed nearly as hard.

Maybe there is another reason for the pricing and speed grading of availability for Rambus. Any other theories that can address these facts?
