Bob, I will rest much easier once this merger is in place. Some posters would have us believe that this will be accomplished in less time than we imagine. Can't happen fast enough IMHO. In my conversation with IMS yesterday, I was repeatedly told we (GAAY shareholders) would receive our proxies within the next 60 days (assuming the QBID vote is +). Also advised that they are "hoping to speed things up." We have heard that already though so no compelling reason to doubt that. Also made it clear though, that it could take as long as 120 days. I suspect, but do not know for certain, that that is probably a legal time frame. In any event, once 51% majority is reached (regardless of outcome) the announcement will be made. Full tally is NOT needed. I've already stated that in the past and I'm sure that is why some posters are predicting an early announcement. I asked if any of the voting shares of QBID were held by insiders and Jim replied NO. All voting shares are out in the public float- which he stated "to the best of his knowledge as 76 million OS and 26 in float". I did not specifically ask if GMKTE's shares were votable as I'm not sure of the capital structure of GMKTE's 10% ownership QBID at present. He did mention something interesting about GMKTE. He stated that they (GMKTE) had "recently filed a 13d to acquire more of QBID." As SUREUCANTRUSTME (on RB) has pointed out, the yellow postcards came from Roseville, CA. which coincides with Access TradeOne Capital Markets Inc. located in Roseville, Calif. GMKTE's interest in QBID is, IMHO, probably more than just an "investment." Appears that there is money accessible to GMKTE. One could certainly perceive a type of PAC-MAN style of merger shaping up. QBID engulfs GAAY, then GMKTE swallows QBID, then... Jim also stated more than once, that the "pulse on the street was favorable to the merger." Take that FWIW. Btw, Jim did verify that GAAY's share count would be included in GAAY's proxy statement if we get it. Good luck to us all! Theo;-) P.S. I did ask Jim what GAAY has that QBID wanted and he stated "For one- the broadcasting rights...Qbid would like that vehicle." Sadly, we went off on a tangent before he could list another reason...
