Track Data Announces Options Direct 'Europe' Ltd., Exclusive U.K. Licensee of
myTrack, Launches Its Online Trading Service, 'myBroker'
Business Editors/Hi-Tech Writers
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 2, 1999--Track Data Corporation
(Nasdaq NMS:TRAC) announced today that Options Direct (Europe) Ltd.,
the exclusive U.K. licensee of myTrack, launched its online trading
service under the private label of "myBroker."
ODL is a London-based stockbroker with more than 2000 active
accounts. The agreement provides trading customers of ODL with a
customized version of myTrack's Internet-based online trading and
market data system. Track Data received a 10% ownership interest inODL.
Track Data's Chairman and CEO, Barry Hertz, said, "We are very
excited about this opportunity to participate with ODL in building an
online trading service in Europe. In addition to our ownership
interest, myTrack is to receive revenues from its market data system
plus a per-trade transaction fee."
Bill Newton, Managing Director of ODL noted, "We believe this is
a great opportunity for both companies. ODL has an early start on the
fast growing online trading market in Europe. With a partner like
Track Data it will give us more visibility and credibility in the
marketplace. There are many synergies that can be better explored as
partners rather than the usual customer-vendor relationship."
Track Data provides real-time financial market data, news,
fundamental research, charting and analytical services to
institutional and individual investors through dedicated
telecommunication lines and the Internet. The Company also offers
online trading through its myTrack Internet-based personal investmentservice.
myTrack is an Internet-based software application that is not
restricted by the limitations of an HTML website-based static system
offered by virtually all of its well-known competitors. myTrack
delivers a continuous dynamic stream of live market data and
investors' online trading activity.
The system is always connected and is an order of magnitude
faster than competing website-based systems. Download myTrack software
or open a trading account at mytrack.com or call
800/myTrack. For information about myTrack's SDK, go towww.mytrack.com/sdk.

She couldn;t find, in general, too much value in computer techs and with the Dow down, said ==>> pharma's and biotechs looking better value
