McNealy Appointment to GE Board:

GE/SUNW, GE has communications networks including CNBC, MSNBC, NBC. GE also has EDI the recognized business to business ecommerce standard used today. GE has a hug stockpile of products that can be sold via ecommerce. GE, to my knowledge, does not sell computer hardware. I believe they provide computer support services, however. GE could finance any growth SUNW wants.

SUNW has servers and software to make GE's ecommerce happen fast. They also have the vision to make GE skyrocket in this new economy.

The more I think about it, the more such a merger makes sense.

PURE SPECULATION FOLLOWS:...[McNealy to Chair GE? etc.]

You ain't the lone ranger. This speculation is all over the wires. SUNW seems extremely tough to acquire right now for anybody but Bill Gates. If it happened, however, I would take the money and run. I've got a little GE anyway.
