MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 2, 1999--Virtual Technology Corporation (OTCBB: VTCO - news) and shopforschool.com announced today that the companies have partnered to offer the Virtual Technology Corporation (VTC) private label TechMart site on the shopforschool.com Web site. Students, parents and faculty can now purchase more than 160,000 hardware and software products at special prices at www.shopforschool.com and donate a portion of each purchase to the school of their choice.
Launched in August, shopforschool.com has already signed up more than 1000 schools representing more than one million students, teachers and staff, to participate in its program. Schools are being added each day. Parents, teachers, students and friends simply visit shopforschool.com and purchase the items they are already buying at brand-name online merchants such as toysmart.com, REI, and OfficeMax. Up to 25 percent of their purchase is dedicated to the school of their choice.
Now, with the addition of Shopforschool TechMart, families can buy a wide variety of technology products at reduced prices because they come directly from the suppliers, such as IBM, Hewlett Packard, Sony and Epson. Shoppers save money and schools receive more funds to help them purchase books, technology products, playground equipment and more. Shopforschool TechMart offers school-age families special bundled products such as the Elementary System featuring a computer, monitor and children's software including Where in the USA is Carmen San Diego and Crayola Make a Masterpiece 5-12.

''We continue to attract industry-leading groups such as shopforschool.com which further validates the enormous benefits of the TechMart service.
