KLP $4.7 billion for 45,000 global circuits. That explains why it went into bankruptcy in the first place. At best I see it grossing $1 billion p.a thus taking 5 years to get the investors money back, with no interest. Sounds like a roads and bridges investment to me. The math simply does not add up. But for McCraw it probably makes strategic sense. Not for us, we want to deliver the Internet (and voice-video) to 10 million new customers each year for only $1.2 billion start-up capex. We like the math on this a whole lot more. Cheers Peter s2com.net
