Dow in a freefall. . . is this what we have to look forward to, now that INTC and MSFT are in the Dow Jones 40 Industrials AND nearly a quarter of the Nasdaq AND are they not in the S&P, too?

With these two stocks in the Dow, it may be more representative of America. . .but the Dow and Naz are increasingly less important. . . I can read the markets far better by just looking at a list of sectors.

Meanwhile, I glance up and see the Dow drop 30 points in 1 minute.

Now. . as INTC and MSFT go. . . .so goes the markets.

Anybody doubt me? Check out the intraday on MSFT. . .now take a look at the intraday on the Dow and the Nasdaq. You could overlap them all. Silliness. . . don't they think about these things BEFORE they make such decisions?

So at this point, if you want to drive the U.S. Markets. . .simply drive MSFT and INTC. . .I would imagine this loophole is looking quite attractive to options traders. William?

Intradays:

Dow Jones: finance.yahoo.com^DJI&d=1d
MSFT: finance.yahoo.com
Naz Comp: finance.yahoo.com^IXIC&d=1d

After a while, check this out. . .http://www.clearstation.com/cgi-bin/intra?tic=1-day&cs=msft&ci=_COMPX&Symbol1=_INDU&i1=None&i2=None&i3=None&i4=None&e1=0&e2=0&e3=0&olay=None&gs=Default&gtyp=Default&gr=gr&Refer=%2Findex.html

According to this activity. . .it appears to me that MSFT is now the "steering wheel" of the Dow Jones Industrials. It would not surprise me if the Dow Jones company reversed their decision.
