Up or down, it doesn't change, there is no volume. Today in FLC the average trade size is still well under 2000 shares, which to me means it's an individual investor driven trading day.
With all due respect to charts on the downside and demand on the up-side, I don't think this market knows what the hell it wants to do.
Question Re gas price increases. CHK had an average 3rd quarter price of $2.26 for gas. If the 4th quarter average is say $2.80, how much of the increase will fall straight to the bottom line?
CHK made $.14 in 3rd quarter. Couldn't this stock be looking at $.80-$1 a share forward earnings for a stock priced at $3.50??
Any thoughts appreciated

API guesses from JoeDi123

Crude up 1.5 to 2.0 million
Gas unch to +1.0
Heat unch to +1.0
Refineries down .2 to .5

Might be easy "guesses" to beat.

Physicist Tom Gold - infinite supply of gas/oil.....

This was in yesterday's Washington Post. Gold, a well known physicist theorizes that oil and gas are actually generated deep in the earth, and seep to the surface, thereby offering an infinite supply.

A good read. He might be correct, but I don't believe that the economics of oil will change in the next 30 years because of it.
