I've now developed the ultimate PAIR trading strategy. When a small CLEC announces via PRnewswire that they're rolling out with PAIR equipment, BUY. No one will notice (or believe it, thinking Hoke might be at it again) until PAIR puts it out on the major wires under their own name one week later (in accordance with their secrecy policy). We should all be able to make money with this system.

QWST/USW merger, now talking about U S WEST's MegaBit Services DSL. Long ago (April, 1996), there were trials with Pairgain and USWest. Haven't turned up anything about it since then. I'm wondering if USWest uses Pairgain equipment...
