Hi David, a secondary listing on Germany's so-called NEUE MARKT (new marketplace) doesn't necessarily mean "pushing this stock". BVSN is already available in Germany through independent brockers the way many American mid-sized stocks are traded overseas.
Adding BVSN to the Neue Markt makes them more vulnerable to extremely hype driven trading philosophies. The Neue Markt is still moving down (some 35% from its altime high) while NASDAQ is more or less continously climbing. To some extend I blame this strange behavior to the fact, that Germans are still not used to investing in stocks. I personally concentrate more on the U.S. market than on German growth stock - in my opinion the U.S. mentality is by far more reliable and predictable.
