MB:

Different context, but it struck a sour note: like a drunken counterfeiter.

That's how I feel about whoever sent me the CD for P* Version 5. I "upgraded" today...most of my bookmarks are no longer available, half the pages I've tried to access won't load, and the "cookie" that's supposed to retain my password and user name for SI only retains my password, are among some of the problems.

I tried to contact P* on their BB, but they had no record of me ever having registered<g>, so they wouldn't accept my note (I had been registered - but I have a sincere doubt as to whether I'll bother with it again). So I tried calling their Customer support - after 38 minutes with a phone stuck in my ear, I then got a dial tone. I haven't called them back, as yet, because I'm reluctant to have some innocent Cust Serv Rep undergo the experience of bathing in a stream of my obscenities. GRRRRRR

To All, Incomes flat but spending up last month. Guess what that does to the savings rate. <g> msnbc.com
I love the concept that incomes are down because of a hurricane, but the same folks who couldn't get to work somehow made it to the malls to spend their unemployment checks. These guys really stretch to try to make bad news sound good. <g>

I thought it was Asia and Russia that did it. Rates weren't that high and dollar tanked after stocks did, not before.
