Tony: RE: Compaq...sometime. I am trying to keep myself from thinking this, at least right now.

I figured Compaq was counting everything imaginable.

Laughed out loud when I responded to your post by thinking, you can never have enough INTC as I continued to read. Then found you acknowledging the same thoughts as reiterated, more than once, by brother Carl!

Tony,
Why mess around with a 'low grade' winner like Compaq?

Look at the 5 year chart using MSN Investor.
10K placed on CPQ, INTC, MSFT or CSCO, is now worth 24K,101K,112K and 200K, respectively.

Only our AMD friends would settle for the 24K, as their 5 year investment of 10K in that 'turkey' is now worth a mere 7.4K.

What is wrong with those hardcore AMD'erites anyway? Maybe they skipped math classes in favor of drinking wine on the beach and staring at the sun.
See you soon,
humble carl
