thanks again N.C. - i use limits too, almost never market orders - if i was thinking of buying something and others come out and say they bought it, it is usually on the way up and they have gotten it for a lower price - so i find it best to get in, even if it comes down a bit, it usually goes right back up - if you don't get in you usually miss the run up all together - and i watch island all the time, but when the MM's want to move something one way or the other it really flies!
