Porno flicks? The "owner's" daughter lived there! I think that one can be discarded. My original thesis is that the most obvious occurred: stock deal gone bad, angered party killed them. Next question, who might that be?

That's the first I've heard about that! However, I have read previously about a possible porn connection. Luke Ford at lukeford.com was reporting a couple of days ago that the stocks being pushed by stockinvestor.com were also being pushed by some "adult" webmasters. A word of warning to anyone checking out this link. lukeford.com specializes in covering the porno industry. However, you won't be bombarded with dirty pictures or find your browser being trapped.
