Discouraging, I agree. They're not perfect, and I sometimes get frustrated with Sun, but that tends to be the exception to the rule, unlike with Microsoft, where I cannot remember the last time I thought: "Wow -- what a good solution". Mostly it's "Damn: what a piece of shit". I had another one of these DWAPOS today, when our web-proxy started mis-behaving. I checked, and the NT file-system had become corrupted. I now have to spend more time dealing with it (same thing that killed my productivity last week). DWAPOS.

And I have to reboot our Sun server too (it goes strange after 54 days of uptime). But I know it will come back up when I do, and work for another 50+ days without a hitch. What a good solution :)
