If you believe in the Thomson I-watch analysis, there was a great deal of buying interest in NN today:

thomsoninvest.net

(enter NN.)

But it you look at money flow, today was a disaster. There was a small u/t in the last few minutes of trading, but not enough to give the corpse any real chance of reincarnation.

(I'm neither long nor short NN as of now. I bought around 27 on the last go-round, and sold at 24 and 20 and change. Not one of my best trades. But I must say that the skeptics on this thread have endured a lot of abuse, especially from Z.O., were proven right, and I congratulate them on their forbearance. They got it, and we longs were wrong.)

Take your pick.

Michael: There was an Analyst from Edward Jones discussing NN on a Cdn Business news programme. The main points were ""

a:NN has company specific problems since Industry is on a roll & revenue and earnings were growing.

b:Specific weakness in N.American Mkts due to Sales and non availablity of new product line to match competition.

c:Future entirely dependent on new Product line.""

The difficult part is ascertaining NN's new product line, dates and sales forecast. A matrix of the Carrier core and the Edge switches made by NN and the competition would be very helpful.

I hope gbh, who is in the profession, will help in this regard.
