No link, and I'm too tired to find one tonight. Oh well... you'll just have to take my word on it.

LT--How many women over 65, do you think, had the opportunity to earn enough to provide for their own old age? How many of them, do you think, lost their husbands and collected a large life insurance settlement? How many of them, do you think, are widows of millionaires? I don't have a link either but know that the majority are not in that category. You live in a youthful environment and probably, do not have contact with a representative cross section of women over 65.I feel sure, there are government studies and reports to back this up, but I am not sure where to find them. Given time I will check with the SSA and any other agency I can think of.
