Taipei, Nov. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Acer Group, one of the world's 10 biggest computer makers, expects its sales to rise 33 percent next year to US$10 billion on stronger demand for computers and Internet-related products, the Commercial Times reported, citing chief financial officer George Huang. Acer Inc., the group's flagship, would contribute about NT$200 billion ($6.29 billion) to next year's projection. Acer Peripherals Inc., which sells mobile phones to Motorola Inc. and others, may post sales of NT$100 billion while sales at Acer Sertek Inc. could reach NT$31 billion, the paper said.

Acer Inc., which relies on International Business Machines Corp. for 40 percent of its sales, has said sales in the first nine months rose 41 percent to NT$92.9 billion.
