My source of earnings estimates has disappeared. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Also, does anyone have the concensus estimate for HTCH this quarter?

Perhaps you are right. I got the trend of fewer heads per drive, that's why I got out of HTCH in July and switched to VECO. Is there no other way to play the DD's without throwing away money? VECO really only has about 60% of its sales to the Drive industry and with a new optical market to enter via Ion Tech, that percentage will probably shrink.

It definitely looks like a losing industry, by the way these companies are managed, do any of these people have business degrees? I have heard all the forecasts about ever increasing storage demand, but where are the profits to go along with that?

RDRT at 4-7/8 today, looks like it would have been a good buy a few weeks ago at 3-1/2. Oh well, it will probably go to 7 and then drop again.
