There weren't too many specific comments made regarding MOTs chip. Here's what they said;

1.MOTs chip is BIG:
17X17mm as compared to Q's 11X11mm

2. QCOM has very competitive chips shipping NOW. We don't know when MOT's will be ready. We're (working on? have already?- I'm pretty sure working on--)a chip which has 2 DSPs and 2 processors in the same piece of silicon whereas

3.MOT needs a SECOND chip (was it for CDMA?). So it's not an integrated chip, as Q's are.

Anyway, my best recollection.

I'm curious about the "debunk" about the Motorola chip, as again, I think the media did more to distort what it is than anybody.

Qdog, how do you know the media distorted the MOT chip? Could it have been the source of the information (I assume MOT) provided misleading information to media contacts? Or are you lumping that possibility in with media distortion? Just curious.
