Mary, Re: "You are normally (12 TO 18 MOS) ahead of the curve eg EMC, LSI,& RMBS."

Thanks. Coming from you that means a lot. However, more often than not, the curves that turn parabolic generally take off with me watching on the ground. Can't win them all, sigh. No complaints though. I do think that Sun has shown that IBM can be asked to move their iron elsewhere by their customers, an open invitation to Intel inside machines.

BTW: WRT Bosox, is it really the curse of the bambino, or is it really the curse of not having enough talent?

Not enough talent, not the right manager at the time (this year's manager, Jimy Williams, is good though), too many Indian burial grounds under Fenway Park, who knows? New York and Steinbrenner definitely have the simoleons to buy a great team, but you still have to execute.

Mary - Re: "I'm expecting analysts to follow suit (Kramer, Niles, Edelstone, and others) and recognize Intel potential in big iron."

I believe the correct term for Intel is "Big Silicon".

In a few months you will understand the term "Big Silicon".
