5% doesn't make sense. royalty earnings before taxes was 404m on aprox 40m chipsets sold. thats more like 10%.
some other numbers to play with, which i'm sure i screwed up since these are post one bottle of bertani and one sniffter of 31yr old scotch.
424m earnings pre tx on chipsets
404m earnings pre tx on royalties
40m chipsets sold= 20.60 per ??
70m chipsets for fiscal 00 * 20.60= 1.44bil pre tx
