The news out of India is baloney. Globalstar does not have a service provider in India. How am I to belive that Globalstar will sign up someone in a month and build a gateway in 1 year?? What is Stephenson smoking.....or more importantly, what does Stephenson think we are smoking !!

ACeS Garuda satellite is still on the ground after the Proton explosion 2 weeks ago. I belive the Kazaks have halted all further Russian launces on Proton and possibly Soyouz too. The good news tough for ACeS is it was not their satellite that smashed to the siberian desert. Just think about the risks with so few satellites of ACeS, and ICO. One ICO sat lost is like 12 Globalstar birds. Donït hold your breath for ACeS and ICO service launch. Thomas L

We have just discovered that Globalstar is A 'Wag the Dog' type enterprise run clandestinely by Bill Gates and Craig McCaw who secretly bought out the remains of Globalstar after the Zenit crash. Their plan was to distract attention form the Iridium debacle until they could get ICO up and running as the first step of their Teledesic venture. After months of undercover work since mid-July, my agents have uncovered some startling facts including the following: There will never be any Globalstar service. The satellites do not even exist. The illusion is created by viruses inserted into all the world's satellite tracking programs by some slick Microsoft code. Geneva? That was easy. The phones were just some regular cell phones McCaw had done up to look like satellite phones. Launches were just smoke and mirrors. Bill paid off some hollywood types just like 'Wag the Dog'. Even Bernard Schwartz is in on this. Bill Gates is slipping him some money to buy Globalstar shares on the open market. This gives the illusion that insiders believe there really is a Globalstar system. The whole ruse will end when ICO is up and running and 'buys out' 'Globalstar' thus avoiding the need to explain things any further. Sorry, there's more but I have got to go - I hear a knocking at the door, and my Internet Explorer browser is sending out these funny flashes...
