I have a theoritical question. Let's say , for the sake of argument , that the BK finally occurs tomorrow (no, I don't think so either but humour me). Lets also say that within the next 5 trading days the indexes plunge 30% (it's a BIG kahuna, remember). Some stocks will fall 60% or more under those circumstances. Now, let's also say that those of us on this thread now hold , combined, $1.5 trillion in puts (yeah , I know...just keep humouring me). What will happen if the people we finally put the options to are wiped out by the big crash and cannot fulfill their obligation?
