then why does my computer with windows 98 lock up almost every other day? it generally happens when using real player.

You should be using the Microsoft media player whenever possible and you can avoid these problems.<g>
I hate it when i only get one option. A lot of sites are only set up for real player. There should always be a choice, IMHO.

The point was that NT is usually 99.9% reliable or less in web hosting unless Data Return is behind it.

99.999% reliability is usually reserved for BSD Unix (not Linux) hosts, or even some Solaris hosts.
