Hey, I remember punched cards!

Year of 1970. High School, computer programing, ect.

A very good year!

We had a dinosaur we rented to the local bank.

NCR, UNIVAX , IBM or something.

Didn't understand it then (programming) and don't now.

You actually ran those things?

Wow! Such a long time ago. <gg>

Jim -

I don't think anybody uses punched cards any more do they?

I believe even IBM has dropped their 80 column card biz.

However... //SYSIN DD * is still very much alive. MVS JCL ain't never gonna die! And neither will AUTOEXEC.BAT
