Tuesday November 2, 3:57 pm Eastern Time Air Canada sweetens buyback bid to C$16 a share TORONTO, Nov 2 (Reuters) - Air Canada (Toronto:AC.TO - news) said on Tuesday it was sweetening its share buyback offer to C$16 a share for up to 36.4 percent of its shares. The Montreal-based airline said it planned to purchase up to 68,750,000 of its common shares and class A nonvoting shares for C$1.1 billion in cash. Air Canada said its revised bid was not conditional on the outcome of the hostile takeover bid made by Onex Corp. (Toronto:OCX.TO - news). The airline added that the additional C$300 million in its revised bid would come from its existing cash reserves of about C$900 million.

Our decision to not trade this stock has nothing to do with TA. It has to do with manipulation by a certain broker who has been sitting on alot of cheap shares and wacking the bid every time it builds up. They also have been putting in alot of fake bids and pulling them at the last minute . . . that's one of the reasons we get so annoyed whenever this stock is mentioned. They may or may not be done with their selling. You may actually be right that the stock will go up but because we have such a bad taste in our mouths due to what this one broker has been doing we have put this stock on our never to trade list. It might be time to look at reconsidering our decision especially since it also trades on the BBs and the volume has picked up significantly . . . somebody is buying this crap. We will watch it tomorrow closely and if we find that the one broker who was dumping isn't doing it or is on the buy tomorrow, we (or at least I) will look at trading it this time. Something weird is going on with this sudden volume pickup so who knows what can happen with it now. I'm sorry for jumping on you, we just have had it with this crazy broker. It's not your fault the broker does this crap so we shouldn't have taken it out on you. We assumed you knew what we knew and that was not a good thing to do. Lola:)

Al Berta....like the province and the name.Good luck with WIZ.I have done alot of DD on it.I called the company and others on the thread will tell you that I also saw it halt the same day.The President has over 3 MM options at .01 based on performance.Company has to show 6 MM in sales according to the President can exercise them but that is crap.He must have thought we all started buying stock yesterday. If you did some DD after the short term buy you will find the warrants will and are freetrading.If it runs hard in the next three days I will be surprised or wonder??? The Osprey
