Re: India. Agree it is big news. Getting late so more on this in future. Just wanted you to know that you are not alone in seeing this.

One thought about lower price. Maybe rates are cheaper because CMA is less expensive to launch and operate, as many on the Q threads have said, and not because of any subsidy.


India is indeed big news, and as has been said, it's nice to not be betting on the underdog for once.

On costs, CDMA is NOT cheaper to launch, it is more expensive. Payoff is down the road in greater carrying capacity and much better upgrade path to 2.5 and 3G data.
