Does anyone know a broker that allows naked put writing in an ira????

I doubt you will find one. Writing naked puts typically requires margin. IRA's dont have margin.

The benefit of selling naked puts is not that profound relative to selling covered calls anyway.

If you write a put in an IRA, you must have all of the cash available to buy the stock if put to you.

Same win/loss profile as covered calls, less commissions. Recovery techniques are also less robust.

None allow it, that I've found. (and I suspect the lower commissions is the reason)

Good luck. If you find one, let me know...

Brown and Co. allow cash-secured naked puts in an IRA.
But the interest they pay on cash stinks.
There are a few others too (but I don't recall names right off--I think one is Benjamin and Jerold).
