Just finished listening to the Qualcomm conference call. It's available on the Qualcomm website, replay Real Player G2. Listen to the last three to five minutes. Irwin Jacobs talks about Qualcomm's HDR. It will deliver 2 megabits stationary internet service (300kb to 1 megabit while mobile). Can be added to existing carrier system using mostly existing cdma equipment, that is, expect Sprint (MCI) to offer it first; price will be competitive, less than existing DSL prices.
