Sluper, hAWKEYE HAS GIVEN A LOT OF THOUGHT TO TODAY'S REPORT BY aauhaa. hawkeye is deeply troubled by it. First, however, it must be acknowledged that the Slup Tribe's newest member, aauhaa, has a very unique talent with words. It is conceivable to hawkeye, that the colorful way in which aauhaa expressed his views caused some genuine degree of alarm in those who are responsible for protecting the safety and security of the members, employees, and physical facilities of the SEC. Add to this, the "odor factor", the smell that aauhaa told us the sulfite pulp gives off after a period of time. In addition, hawkeye is advised that sulfite pulp is incendiary, i.e., it catches fire very quickly. So, maybe they thought it was a "stink bomb" of some sort or something like that. (aauhaa did use the phrase "would cause a stench in the halls of the SEC for a long time" -- or something to that effect, perhaps an unfortunate choice of words given the odor of the paper.) I suspect that the security officers also did some investigative work into aauhaa's general background and when they discovered that he was an experienced chemist, this increased their concerns. In addition, you have to be cognizant of the heightened level of security that has been in effect in all federal government agencies, including hawkeye's, for quite a while now. (hawkeye mentioned this and the reasons for it earlier in the day.) So, it would not be totally candid to label this incident as being a blatant retaliatory action by the SEC against a citizen for having expressed legitimate grievances and concerns that were highly critical of the agency. At this point in time, I honestly do not know how to accurately label it. Maybe it was just one of things. The price we pay to live in an ordered society, etc., etc. This morning, I do not pretend know. Still, the incident is very disturbing to hawkeye and may be perceived by some as not reflecting very well on the SEC. The SEC is very fortunate that neither aauhaa nor his wife went into cardiac arrest from the shock of it all. It is late Slurper (3:30AM). It is also very late in the struggle between the SEC and SLUP and in the world of SLUP's shareholders clamoring to learn the truth about the Solucorp investigation and what, if anything, SLUP has done wrong. hawkeye believes that if one does not know what to say about an important matter at a given moment in time, that he/she should say nothing at all. Upon reflection, hawkeye believes that situation confronts him now. HAWKEYE ALREADY HAS FELT THE CHILL. In an attempt to make light of the situation, hawkeye was about to write "WHAT A REVOLTING DEVELOPMENT!!" the old William Bendix standard line popularized by the 1950's Television series The Life of Riley. But hawkeye hesitated. For an instant, the thought did ACTUALLY cross hawkeye's mind that maybe the SEC, if they read it, would interpret it as a call for a revolt against the SEC, or some other sinister plan. The very fact that EVEN FOR A FLEETING MOMENT!!!! this thought entered the mind of an honest and loyal citizen of the United States of America makes this a very sad day. hawkeye notes the exemplary conduct and courtesy displayed by the agents of the FBI and LAPD in their having apologized to aahuaa. The apparent lack of a similar apology from the a responsible authority at the SEC serves only as a further indication of that agency's arrogance. hawkeye hopes that aauhaa will not find anything in this post offensive to him. hawkeye greatly respects aauhaa's courage and candor in bringing this serious matter to the attention of his fellow citizens and to Solucorp shareholders, in particular. thank you for your attention, hawkeye (not Hawkeye, idiot-savant of the SLUP Tribe)
