Yes, the market still moves in hype driven circles for the select few that know how to play the game. By next year, most consumers will have forgotten all about Ziscam and gone on to the next fad.

By the way, the "American Journal of Infection Control" (AJIC) does exist yet the medical library here doesn't carry it (which shows you how important a journal they think it is). However, I did find a link to articles in this journal via the medical libraries computer system. I would imagine the Ziscam article, when it's published, will vie with such important AJIC articles as "Handwashing in intensive care..." (an actual article recently published in AJIC) for highest number of scientific citations.

Don't feel bad about losing the chance to make money on the long side. If you get short, there's far more to be made down the road on the short side.
