JANUARY 6, 2000 Anitech Enterprises Inc. : Ontario Pork Producers Marketing Board Orders System For 4 Plants TORONTO, ONTARIO--The Ontario Pork Producers Marketing Board has ordered Anitech's new DT-500 Data Collection System for installation at 4 Ontario meat packing plants this year. This order represents an endorsement of Anitech's system by a respected industry group and will bring the installed base of DT-500 systems to 10 plants. Anitech's new DT-500 is a proprietary computer system that helps meat packers keep production records on individual carcasses and respond to new global regulatory requirements known as HACCP. Anitech also sells annual service and maintenance agreements with every DT-500 system. Maple Leaf Meats, Schneider Meats, Weston Abattoir, and Best Brands have already installed the DT-500. In 2000, Anitech is focusing its sales efforts on the huge US market and expansion into the beef industry. Anitech is a leader in data collection for the animal industry. In the fast growing pet industry, Anitech's PetNet microchip ID system for pets is distributed at 80% of all Canadian veterinary clinics. Over 400,000 pets are microchipped and registered with PetNet. Anitech also offers a PetNet Visa card in partnership with Bank One and is exploring Internet e-commerce opportunities to leverage its dominant pet industry position and growing pet database.
