DMA, the only personal issue I have with the elderly, real estate, and who is "poor" has to do with my experiences trying to hire people and as a manager.

If you look at who has healthcare in this country vs. who doesn't, I suspect its a sharp line directly downward, with the elderly completely insured and babies hardly covered at all. This has nothing to do with anybody being poor, because on a net worth basis the elderly are a wealthy demographic.
