Hey coug, how was the Freaker's Ball? Hope you didn't do too much freakin'. How many tankards of rum did you have? Not enough to get the horrors I hope.

I do a lot less reading since I became a "nethead" too. Gotta learn to strike a balance somewhere.

I don't think I ever read that book by Einstein, but I do remember a book he wrote about relativity that was written on a high school student level, that was very good. I always had a soft spot in my heart for old Albert, because he made an effort to explain his theories for people who couldn't understand the complex math. I suspect that there are very few people who understood what he had to say without reading the simplified version, but I also suspect that there are a lot of people who don't want to admit it.

As for people destroying a thread with arguments, based on my experience, which isn't all that extensive, sometimes after everyone gets ticked off and leaves, the thread sort of regenerates, like life on earth after nuclear war.
