Just as interesting was this Osha comment:

"Intel is not seeing tight supply simply on Coppermine - it was clear yesterday that the tightness extends across Intel's product lineup on the desktop side."

GVTucker,>>>"We hosted Intel's CFO Andy Bryant for breakfast yesterday in NY....."The extent to which Intel is struggling to keep up with strong demand came through loud and clear...."

Sheesh, no way we are going to meet earnings expectations now. Osha is new at this stuff. He doesn't know that talking to Andy is like talking to Greenspan. You are not suppose to know what he is trying to tell you. You are only expected to go away being impressed by the guy's knowledge and intelligence.

Hi GV Tucker, I thought this was clear awhile ago in their Qty CC, the CFO said he wasn't sure if they were going to be able to build up inventory to meet the demand:

Message 11527549

- IMPORTANT: INVENTORY LESS THAN EXPECTED... WE DIDN'T ANTICIPATE THIS MUCH DEMAND SO WE ARE PUSHING OUR FABS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. Right now, with fabs, we are trying to, I would like to build up inventory in Q4, don't know if we will be able to or not !!!
[Note: This translates to me: a very healthy demand for Q4]
