NMRX's main competitor (BellSoWrls & Ardis fail on price) is Aeris, but :

1. Aeris' system requires capture of the voice channel as well as data -- uses up more of the bndwdth/spectrum, therefore fewer users on the system or less data can be xfr'd

2. Aeris' coverage (cvg) less b/c uses more power b/c must use some power for voice

3. Aeris' cvg lesser again b/c has fewer contracts with cell companies ie. smaller footprint to begin with, so if major national customer comes along, they Aeris' can't handle it

NMRX's Cellemtry is the reverse ie. positive of all the above

RDCM picked some up at 4 5/8, 3/4 - watched for months, no movement, finally started to move -- H323 testing, analysis -- H323 becoming new std - witness FVCX, NMRX use of H323 (isdn is passe)
