Softlink Files Form SB-2 With SEC: stock flies in the face of Detractors SANTA CLARA, Calif., Nov 3, 1999 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Softlink, Inc. (OTC BB: SFLK), the leader in multimedia email software, today announced that it has filed a Form SB-2 with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to register 4,020,000 shares of Softlink's common stock. Softlink also intends to file a registration statement on Form 8-A with the SEC to become a reporting company under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. Upon the effective date of the Form 8-A, Softlink will become a reporting company under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and will be required to regularly file quarterly reports (Form 10-Qs) and annual reports (Form 10-Ks), as well as report other corporate developments. Achieving reporting company status will also ensure that Softlink complies with policies of the National Association of Securities Dealers. These policies require reporting company status as a precondition of a company's eligibility for listing on the OTC Bulletin Board, where Softlink's common stock is now listed. "The filing of this SB-2 represents an important milestone for Softlink, as it is the first step towards becoming a fully reporting company and fulfilling our commitment to the SEC and our shareholders," said William Yuan, CEO of Softlink, Inc.
