Check out NPLS - same as DSLN only better - went public in June - if people will bid up DSLN, they will bid up NPLS. The time has come for the DSL service providers to get a ride. The DSL equipment providers like COVD and CMTN are played out. Goldman was NPLS underwriter. I had been wondering why this niche has been ignored, but it looks like its finally getting the attention it deserves. ALL ABOARD THE GRAVY TRAIN!
Earnings Nov. 10th.

By the way, DSLN's revs for the most recent quarter (september) were only $300K. NPLS's revs for the six months ended June were in the tens of millions - and they are reporting third quarter (september) results very soon! Cha-ching!

excerpt from 10/27 Goldman report:

* Network Plus announced that it signed a 10-year, $3 million deal with
Metromedia Fiber Network for 3 fiber rings around New York City that
connect 16 central office collocations (for an addressable market of 1.2
million business access lines). Network Plus reported that it equipped
the 16 COs with Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexers (DSLAMs)
that are capable of delivering Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) and
Voice-over-DSL (VoDSL) services.
* We view this announcement positively as the company is one of the early
adopters of VoDSL technology and will be the first to deliver VoDSL to
New York City. We believe that VoDSL is an exciting new technology that
cost effectively provides bundled voice and high-speed data/Internet
access for Network Plus's small- to medium-sized business customers.
This is Network Plus' second market in which it has launched VoDSL
service, the first was Cambridge, MA. We expect the company to announce
VoDSL service in Boston in the next few weeks with a series of future
announcements to follow as the company continues its VoDSL roll-out
along the east coast.
* Our takeaway is that Network Plus is on-target with its network
deployment, continues to deliver on its goals, and should post solid
results when third quarter results are announced on November 10.
