Poet -- There are close to 3000 telecommunications/networking attendees at the NGN conference here outside DC and I have to think some of the excitement regarding optical networks is due to what's being said. There's a big focus on this area with speakers from Alcatel, Lucent, Nortel, Ciena, and many smaller players, all telling the same story. If what I'm hearing is correct, the next big play will be terabit routers. Too bad all the companies are still private. Just the same, it's an area to keep an eye on. Pat
