Joan. I don't disagree that there are plans to flush the system with liquidity in case of a downturn. And I think the trigger point in the indexes for adding liquidity is a lot lower than most bulls believe. However all this assumes a downturn which we aren't likely to experience over the short term.

Personally I am growing tired of the "Y2K trouble" theories and the Fleck man talking about nuclear winter as if it will have permanence. It is nothing more than a short-term business cycle confused in part with industry structure changes taking place in the PC biz.
